St. Anthony Heartwell  Colt fell to Artesia Heartwell Colt 5-3 on Saturday.

St. Anthony Heartwell  Colt were the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run.

Artesia Heartwell Colt jumped into the lead in the bottom of the first when Daniel Carbajal hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Jorge Vidal Jr singled, scoring two runs.

Artesia Heartwell Colt added one run in the third after Vidal Jr hit into a fielder's choice.

Ramon Chavez III earned the win for Artesia Heartwell Colt. He gave up three hits and two runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking none. Geovannie Chavarria took the loss for St. Anthony Heartwell  Colt. The starting pitcher went five innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits, striking out two and walking two. Leo Arcos earned the save.

Leadoff hitter Matt James led St. Anthony Heartwell  Colt with two hits in three at bats. Dylan Degiorgio and Joseph Wild each drove in one run for St. Anthony Heartwell  Colt.

Vidal Jr led Artesia Heartwell Colt with three runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Arcos led Artesia Heartwell Colt with two hits in two at bats. Artesia Heartwell Colt turned one double play in the game.
